Southern Cross usually accommodates professional representatives and direct foreign corporate clients who require IP-related services in the Netherlands. However, it has elected to limit itself to dealing with professionals and direct foreign corporate clients in developed IP-jurisdictions only.

While new associates and direct foreign corporate clients are welcomed, there is no obligation on Southern Cross to accept their custom. In particular if there is a conflict of interest with an existing client (or if one arises in time), then Southern Cross retains the right to ask the prospective associate or direct foreign corporate client to seek advice and assistance elsewhere.
